Stephanie Keeney Parks
Stephanie is a Postdoctoral Fellow whose research centers on the intersection of Black family life, disability, special education, health inequity, and mass incarceration. She received her Ph.D. at UCLA from the Department of Anthropology, where her work focused on medical, psychological, and linguistic anthropology. She is an alumnus of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where she received her M.A. in Medical Anthropology. The impetus for Stephanie's research is her lived experience as a Black woman and mother of an autistic adult.
